WANDA Border Collie Young Female in Richmond, Virginia

My story
My name is Wanda and I recently was put in a kill shelter in Tennessee and they named me Wanda.  I am a young girl that is probably a Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix and I weigh about 55 pounds.  I have the most beautiful mixture of colors that are mostly black and white with a little bit of amber mixed in to my long soft coat of fur.  I love people and I smile so big when they come in the room to see me.  I love food and so it makes it so easy to train me because I am motivated to do things for those treats!  The fact that I am two breeds that are pretty darn smart means that I need a family who is pretty dog savvy and smart like me.  I need a fenced yard and some attentive people who will show me how to be the best girl that I have in my soul.  I really want to be the ONLY DOG GIRL.  I have some reactions to other dogs because I was probably never taught that other dogs could be fun to play with.  I have a ton of love, active nature that needs the good exercise daily.  This girl can be taught to be OK with other dogs but we want a home where she doesn’t have to do that right now.  She is 90% potty trained and learning  to like her crate at night.  She will require some work but worth the work.  If you want to consider this gorgeous girl please email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com   PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at /adoption.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt WANDA, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
