SWEET ROSEY Labrador Retriever Young Female in Richmond, Virginia

My story
Sugar and spice and everything nice....that is what we think of our girl Rosey.  She is precious and special and loves to be loved. Pictures are so misleading because she is the perfect medium sized girl at 41 lbs. and such a beauty.  This solid girl named Rosey is almost 2 years old and has been through a lot in such a young life. She was born to a stray momma and both of them was taken by Animal Control to the local shelter.  Rosey thought her life was on a good path because she was quickly adopted as a cute puppy.  But her new owner didn’t know how to properly take care of a puppy and soon Rosey found herself on the end of a chain and tied out in the dirty backyard. What happened next if why we tell people to NEVER tie out a dog because they are so defenseless. Tragedy struck when a stray dog came in to Rosey's yard and she was attacked. She suffered a nasty wound to her neck and ear. Her owner could not pay for her medical treatment so the rescue came to take care of her and her future.  With lots of love and medical care, Rosey's wounds have healed and the tragedy is far from her thoughts. All she knows now is cuddles and kisses. Rosey is a Lab/Bulldog mix. She is still dog friendly and loves all humans. With her sweet personality, we believe she could even do well in a home with cats.
