RED BETTY Australian Cattle Dog Young Female in Richmond, Virginia

My story
Red Betty is a Pretty freckled girl that is mostly Heeler and only 8 months of age and 46 pounds.  This girl was found running in the road as a stray and when the owners were found they said we could just keep her as a rescue group.   They had no fence and no desire to keep her inside and safe from being run over.   This girl did not deserve to die under the wheels of a car simply because no one cared.  We care and so we took in this friendly Heeler mix girl and have completely vetted her with spay, all shots, heartworm test (neg) and microchip and dewormings and vet exam completed.  We have found that she is a jewel beyond compare.  The beauty is that she is so easy going and gets along with the dogs and the cat in her foster home. She isn’t comfortable being crated, so she would do best in a household where she won’t need to be crated.  We found a real KEEPER of a girl when we took Red Betty home.  She is incredibly sweet and very people focused as most Heelers are.  Their devotion is beyond compare and their intelligence is off the charts in the dog word.  We can see her fitting in with so many different types of families.   We do request a fenced yard since this girl needs to run and exercise.  Please consider this 8 month old girl as a new member of your family.  Contact us at PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at
