My story
Poncho is a 2.5 year old (estimate based on veterinary estimate) neutered male Blue Heeler boy that has been on a journey in his young life to find good health and a grounded and stable family to love him.  This extremely calm boy was once owned by a woman who could not care for any of her dogs.  When she turned them in they all   came to us with a multitude of medical problems that we have healed and sent them on to new families.  Poncho is our last boy that we had to figure out his food tolerances and have now finally gotten the right food figured out for his system.   His sensitive stomach is under control now and we are seeing him acting spunky and playful in his life.   Poncho is the calmest and most chilled dog ever.   When you think of Blue Heelers you think of extremely high energy and active active.   Well not Poncho!  He is kind of a Zen dog with lots of intelligence and an easy easy temperament.  He is housebroken and crate-trained and good on a leash and knows commands.  What this boy wants most in life is to be your shadow and be wherever his people are.  Poncho is very quiet, rarely barking. Poncho loves to run and chase for fun and he is working on “fetch”, but doesn’t see why he should leave your side to go get something you tossed away.  I mean he thinks his foster mom is far more fun than a BALL!  He cannot learn “stay” because if you are stepping away from him, he wants to go, too.  He has the command “sit” down pay and is proud when he makes his foster parents happy.  If you are looking for a most loving and devoted dog to bless your life every day, please think of giving Poncho your heart and home.   You won’t regret it.  Please email us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com  He promises to give  you his whole heart and soul  !
