 Lucy Marie is a Cattle Dog mix girl that is 6 years old and 40 pounds and looking for a new home that is young and fresh and has a fenced yard.  This girl has been in a loving home since she was a puppy but her elderly owner had a life altering accident and nothing has been right ever since for Lucy Marie.  She has always been surrounded by in the past by a great deal of people in the extended family but now Lucy Marie has to find a new home where she can reign supreme as the leader and Queen of the house.  This girl is the typical Cattle Dog blend of love, devotion, smart and loyal.   However since the accident she has had to share home turf at other dogs homes and the other dogs do not like her alpha persona.  She has tried to exist as a step down dog in a household that is already dominated by an alpha dog but this is not possible for Lucy Marie.  She has been the queen and will always be the queen.  She needs a total adult environment with no small children as they tend to make her nervous and more territorial.  She is waiting for a dog savvy owner who can give her the attention she once had with her elderly owner who can no longer give her the time and affection physically that she needs.    Please help us place this pretty girl in a wonderful home with a forever promise of all the good things a dog deserves in life. In return, Lucy will shower those who care for her with devotion. She is acutely sensitive to the feelings of those around her, and can turn even the saddest day to sunshine
